Starrats and Black Succubi 26/02-09

The first Jewel Rocks arrangement at Axeltorv was a huge success from the eyes of the audience.  It is quite a small place with room for only 300 people, it was quickly filled with a good atmosphere.
 
The first band on stage was Danish/Swedish Starrats that was presented by Oliver Weers.  They played as usual a show in top gear, with tons of energy.  The guitarist Dennis Post hopped out into the audience and ended the show by setting his guitar on fire.  I feel that their music is a little too messy but they definitely get the crowd going. Starrats ended their show with a Bon Jovi song I'll Be There for You in a very fast version.
 
After Starrats it was time for the sexy entertainment.  It started by calling some guys from the audience up on stage where the Jewel Rocks girls had to choose who had the best ass...A little special, but the crowd loved it.  The winner was the front man from Alien Force "Peter" that was one of many known guests from the Copenhagen heavy scene that showed up that night.

After that it was time for the nights high...if you were to go from the audiences reaction.  It was time for the strip show...The guitarist from Black Succubi Michael Larsen was placed on a chair in the middle of the floor and the sexy stripper performed a very kinky show that ended up with her being completely naked. Now the audience was warmed up for Black Succubi  to come on stage about midnight.  I think they play some cool metal that is going somewhere.  It is heavier than Starrats but still melodically.  It was the first time I had seen Black Succubi live, but definitely not the last time.  The night ended around 2 am.
 
All in all I think it was a cool event that Jewel Rocks threw and they can expect visits from sleazemetal.dk every other Thursday from now on.
